You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?!?!?- July 11, 2011

celestearooni

You know what really grinds my gears?

Guys who only want one thing. Guys who only want one thing grind my gears. I mean I understand that guys ,subconsciously,  think about sex every two minutes and I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that; do your thing you know. But when they get into a relationship and they look into their girlfriend’s eye’s and lie by telling them they love them just to get sex, that irks me. My little sister is going through something like this. She was like totally into this guy and he told her, after a very nice day might I add, that he was in love with her. Awee, right?! WRONG! A couple weeks after that very day, he has the nerve to tell her that he MIGHT go out with this girl. I mean I don’t know about you readers, but that just sounds trifflin to me. This same guy boy blatantly told her when she told him that wanted to lay low on the sexy stuff and this kid said “Why else would I be in a relationship?, what else is there to be in a relationship?”. I thought to myself, “Ok, so being honest is good. But why did he have to say some ish like that?!”. Now it also bothers me when for instance you’re sittling on the couch with your boyfriend and ya’ll start making out. That’s ok. But when you know he starts you know moving further down your body and you’re not ok with that, so you tell them to stop or something like that, and then THEY get mad. So they start saying all this stuff about how they love you, how they’d never hurt you, and things to that sort. My thing is, why can’t you tell me all of this stuff before you try and put your hand down my pants? Hmm.

janelle monáe treading seamlessly between androgyny/gender non conformity and bold displays of femininity showcases how many bi/pan women fluctuate between different gender presentations as a result of how their multiple-gender attraction disrupts and complicates their conceptualizations of gender. her celebration of proudly portraying herself with masculine or feminine aesthetics is a quintessential highlight of the bisexual community’s approach to gender, and in particular, is a hallmark of bisexual music and artistry. in this essay, i will

You kiddos have no idea how groundbreaking this was. Like there’s a reason THE lesbian website for a billion years was called After Ellen. She changed everything.

oh man you know that feeling that’s like kind of an ache right between your heart and your stomach? like nostalgic knowing of pain? that’s how the scared look in Ellen’s eyes makes me feel.

auntiewanda

Look at her hand too and how nervous she is. Every gay and lesbian person knows this feeling, because we know there are assumptions and consequences and there’s no telling how someone will react.

And let no one forget that she suffered consequences for this. It wasn’t just a moment of cathartic unburdening and then business as usual.

auntiewanda

Right, she lost her first TV show. She worked hard to get up to where she is today.

You can see the moment where she’s like “I can’t just like and make up a name. I can’t just pretend that the person I felt a deep connection with doesn’t exist.”
